# Purchasing Items

Instead of building a farm economy from scratch, the player can buy new upgraded land, buildings and characters on the **MOTU Marketplace**\
The player can also purchase **resources**\
Purchases are made for **MTU** or other currencies if these are NFT items or for **M.O.L.** if these are just in-game items
